Welder - 1st Shift**
**Job Description**
Join a leading trailer manufacturing company in Dane County as a Welder for an approximately 8-week project in Evansville, WI. This role involves MIG welding on mild steel to construct trailer frames, performing small fabrication tasks, and working from blueprints.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform MIG welding on mild steel.
+ Construct trailer frames through welding.
+ Execute small fabrication tasks such as cutting, bending, and assembly.
+ Work from and interpret blueprints.
+ Participate in weld tests conducted in Stoughton, regardless of project location.
**Essential Skills**
+ At least 1 year of experience in MIG welding.
+ Proficiency in blueprint reading with a minimum of 1 year of experience.
+ Experience working with mild steel.
+ Basic fabrication skills.

**Work Environment**
The work is conducted in a very large facility that is not climate controlled, meaning it can be cool in the winter and hot in the summer. The environment is loud, necessitating the use of ear plugs. The first shift runs from 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with hours on alternating Fridays from 5:30 AM to Noon. The dress code requires jeans, a work-appropriate t-shirt, and steel-toe shoes. Please note that contractors must be clean-shaven for respirator tests, with allowances for sideburns but not around the chin or mustache area.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
