Industrial Electrician**
**Job Description**
The role involves assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, conduit, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures. You will ensure all electrical equipment meets regulatory codes at country, state, and federal levels, perform safety-related functions, and undertake miscellaneous electrical activities.
**Responsibilities**
+ Repair production and plant equipment on assigned shifts.
+ Demonstrate safe and proficient use of both hand and power shop tools.
+ Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on all equipment following written procedures.
+ Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment problems during production, including PLCs.
+ Work from ladders, scaffolds, lifts, and roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
+ Read electrical schematics and test electrical systems and circuits using testing devices.
+ Promote teamwork and collaboration across projects with different plants and departments.
+ Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
**Essential Skills**
+ Possession of a journeyman card.
+ Four years of progressively responsible journey-level electrical experience.
+ Completion of a four-year federally approved technical training program in electrical repair and maintenance.
+ Two years of electrical experience, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
+ High School diploma or equivalent.
+ Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business information, journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Proficient in troubleshooting PLCs.
+ Knowledge of regulatory codes and compliance requirements.
