Schedule: Full-time, overtime available
Day Shift Schedule: 6:30 AM-5:00 PM M-F

Hadco Construction is seeking a skilled and dependable Yellow-Iron Mechanic to join our Maintenance and Shop Division. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience working on heavy equipment such as loaders, dozers, backhoes, and excavators. You'll be responsible for diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance to keep our fleet running efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on a variety of yellow-iron equipment
Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
Maintain accurate service records and communicate effectively with shop leads and operators
Identify necessary parts and assist with ordering as needed
Ensure work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and company standards
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience working with heavy construction equipment preferred
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and diagnostic tools
Welding/fabrication experience a plus
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Must have a valid driver's license (CDL preferred but not required)
