  • Communicate with clients to clarify project needs, gather information, and build lasting relationships
  • Perform takeoffs and collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to gather competitive pricing
  • Follow up on outstanding bids and help convert estimates into awarded projects
  • Maintain and grow relationships with repeat clients, builders, and developers
  • Coordinate with Project Managers and field teams for a smooth project handoff
  • Track bids and maintain organized estimate files according to company systems
  • Attend pre-bid meetings and perform site visits as needed
  • Support a team culture focused on responsiveness, accountability, and quality

Qualifications

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in sales or estimating (construction-related preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal and follow-up skills
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Bluebeam, InSite, or other estimating tools is a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, or a willingness to learn
  • Positive and self-motivated with a client-first mindset
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally for site visits

Benefits:

  • Medical insurance with company contribution
  • Dental, vision, and life insurance options
  • Short-term and long-term disability insurance and supplemental benefits
  • 401(k) with company match after 6 months
  • Holiday and vacation pay after 90 days
