Machine Operator 1st Shift**
**Job Description**
As a Machine Operator specializing in metal fabrication, you will be responsible for operating a wide variety of metal fabrication equipment during the 1st shift. This position involves setting up and running automated equipment such as brake presses and punch presses, as well as manual equipment like tube benders, lathes, shears, grinders, saws, and other fabrication machinery.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate and manage automated equipment including brake presses and punch presses.
+ Set up and run manual equipment such as tube benders, lathes, shears, grinders, and saws.
+ Ensure the accurate setup of machines for production runs.
+ Read and interpret blueprints to ensure precise metal fabrication processes.
+ Utilize drill presses and tape measures to achieve precise measurements.
+ Maintain high standards of quality and safety in all machine operations.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in CNC machine operation.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
+ Experience with drill presses and tape measures.
+ Previous metal fabrication experience.
+ General production and machine operating skills.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High School Diploma or GED.
+ Experience running brakes, presses, lathes, and multiple saws.
+ Strong measurement and quality knowledge.
