Survey Technician - Office Drafting - St. Louis and Lake St. Louis Areas

Survey Technician - Office Drafting Location: St. Charles County, MO or St. Louis County, MO Full-Time | In-Office | Monday-Friday A well-established surveying and engineering firm in the St. Louis metropolitan area is seeking a detail-oriented Survey Technician to support office-based drafting and mapping tasks. This is a great opportunity for an experienced technician to contribute to a diverse portfolio of commercial, industrial, and large-scale land development projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in boundary and ALTA/NSPS survey drafting and will work under the supervision of a Licensed Professional Land Surveyor. Key Responsibilities: Prepare property boundary surveys, ALTA/NSPS surveys, record plats, easement plats, and legal exhibits Draft deliverables in accordance with Missouri survey standards and drafting best practices Interpret field data, notes, and sketches to develop accurate CAD drawings Coordinate with project managers, surveyors, engineers, and land planners to ensure timely and accurate deliverables Assist with construction layout calculations (preferred) Perform basic data handling and file management using survey and drafting software Required Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of experience in survey drafting Proficiency in AutoCAD (Civil 3D experience preferred) Solid knowledge of property boundary principles and drafting standards Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines Preferred but Not Required: Experience using Trimble Business Center Field survey background or construction layout experience Knowledge of easement and platting processes for Missouri jurisdictions What We Offer: Competitive salary based on experience Annual bonus opportunities 401(k) Health, dental, and life insurance Health Savings Account (HSA) 3 weeks of paid time off Paid continuing education and professional development support Supportive, experienced team with a strong project backlog Apply now to become part of a highly skilled team with a reputation for excellence and over 75 years of surveying leadership in the region. #armo PandoLogic.
