Mechanical Project Manager

Central Plumbing, Heating, Excavation is seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee daily operations of commercial mechanical projects. This role involves managing field teams, coordinating project logistics, and producing timely results on budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and manage contracts, submittals, and project documentation
• Coordinate scheduling of manpower, materials, and subcontractors
• Handle material purchasing and tracking
• Lead pre-construction planning and meetings
• Manage project billing, change orders, and close-out procedures
• Communicate with clients, engineers, and internal teams
• Monitor labor, equipment rentals, and job site performance
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards
• Maintain strong client relationships and support business development

Qualifications:

• Experience as a foreman/superintendent or project manager in a related industry
• Strong technical and administrative skills
• Proficiency in project management and accounting software
• Excellent communication, time management, and leadership abilities
• Ability to interpret contracts, drawings, and specifications
• Commitment to ethical and professional conduct

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform physical tasks including walking, climbing, lifting up to 25 lbs, and operating tools
• Visual and auditory acuity required for job site activities
