Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and refrigeration systems.
Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings related to HVAC design.
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools such as an ohmmeter.
Perform equipment repairs on various appliances related to HVAC systems.
Collaborate with other tradespeople in construction projects or property maintenance tasks.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all service calls.
Document service performed and maintain accurate records of work completed.
Qualifications
3 years of proven experience as a service technician in the HVAC field or related mechanical fields.
Strong understanding of HVAC/R principles, including air conditioning, refrigeration, plumbing, and boiler systems.
Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
Ability to perform welding tasks as needed for equipment repair.
Experience in field service work with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Valid driver's license is required for travel to job sites.
