Design and coordinates structural elements for life sciences building projects working closely with Architectural discipline project leads, structural design technical leadership and engineering discipline project leads to design, develop, and document the required structural elements for complex program-driven life science and pharmaceutical facilities. Understand of building structural materials and systems, methods of construction, and the relationships of potential caustic or corrosive materials. Capable to coordinate the structural design in conjunction with the local building codes to meet the client's operational needs and expectations. Meet and coordinates with other project related disciplines to discuss technical aspects of project design, project specifications, and construction details. Ability to design structures using a variety of material types based on project needs and chemical reactions.

REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a masters degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering or closely related field and 5 years of work experience in job offered or related occupation. Working proficiently with structural design software: Hilti Profis, GT Strudl, and Risa 3D & Risa Foundation. Utilizing project review and documentation software: Navisworks, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD.
