A leading civil engineering and development consulting firm is conducting a confidential search for a Senior Civil Engineer with deep expertise in commercial and residential land development . This is a high-impact leadership role, ideal for someone ready to guide complex site development projects from feasibility to final build-out.

• Lead design and oversight of site development projects: grading, drainage, utilities, and roadways
• Manage and mentor a team of engineers and CAD designers
• Navigate zoning, entitlements, and permitting processes with local and state agencies
• Review and approve construction documents and technical reports
• Collaborate directly with clients, developers, and municipalities
• Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resource planning
• Support construction coordination and site execution
• Ensure compliance with environmental and stormwater regulations

• B.S. in Civil Engineering (PE license required)
• 12+ years in civil engineering with land development focus
• Expertise in site layout, grading, stormwater management, and utility coordination
• Familiar with Civil 3D and permitting standards (Carlson Civil Suite a plus)
• Excellent team leadership and communication skills
• Experience with local zoning and environmental review processes (e.g., DEP, MS4)
