Construction Inspector

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Construction Inspector who will work closely as an Assistant Hands-on Project Manager. This role involves performing construction inspections across Tinker Air Force Base, conducting facility assessments for proactive maintenance, and ensuring project specifications and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct construction inspections at various sites within Tinker Air Force Base.
  • Perform facility assessments for maintenance of chillers, transformers, and civil advancements.
  • Read and interpret construction plans, project specifications, testing reports, and schedules.
  • Ensure contractor's work quality meets contract requirements.
  • Review and discuss discrepancies with the client's representative or Project Manager.
Essential Skills

  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
  • 4+ years of experience in Construction Management
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • High level of trades knowledge
  • Experience with cradle to grave construction
  • Experience in construction management and commercial construction
  • Subcontractor management and superintendent skills
Work Environment

The work environment includes office and construction site settings at Tinker Air Force Base. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 7 am to 4 pm. Employees will have exposure to Tinker and Corps personnel, along with visibility on major projects.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
