Heavy Equipment Operator/Laborer

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating heavy machinery but not a must can train on site and will be responsible for performing various tasks on mine site. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. The Equipment Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed safely and efficiently.

Duties

Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, backhoes, and loaders on construction sites.
Perform horizontal drilling and excavation tasks to prepare sites for construction.
Safely dig trenches and holes while adhering to safety protocols.
Transport materials using tankers and other vehicles as needed.
Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within specifications.
Follow all safety guidelines and regulations while operating machinery.

Qualifications

Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, specifically with bulldozers, and loaders, excavators, etc.
Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
Valid driving license
Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 55 per week
