Cloud Migration Architect/Guidewire Policy Center

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Cloud Migration Architect/Guidewire Policy Center in New York, NY.

Summary:
Our client is undertaking a strategic migration of their Guidewire PolicyCenter platform from an on-premises environment to the cloud. They are seeking an experienced Migration Architect to lead and guide this transformation, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal disruption to business operations.

Responsibilities:
* Lead the end-to-end migration strategy for Guidewire PolicyCenter to a cloud-based infrastructure
* Assess current on-prem architecture and define cloud migration roadmap
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including infrastructure, security, and application development
* Ensure compliance with best practices for cloud architecture, data integrity, and system performance
* Identify and mitigate risks associated with migration activities
* Provide technical leadership and mentorship to internal teams throughout the migration lifecycle
* Document architecture decisions, migration plans, and post-migration support strategies

REQUIREMENTS:
* Proven experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter implementations and migrations
* Experience with data migration, system integration, and legacy modernization
* Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and cloud-native architecture
* Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud security best practices
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications:
* Guidewire certifications (PolicyCenter or Cloud)
* Experience in the insurance domain or similar regulated industries
* Hands-on experience with cloud migration tools and automation frameworks
* Preference is for hybrid 3 days a week in one of over 10 different office locations around the USA

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
