Laborer

Staffmark is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Laborer to support a well-established facility in Vidalia, LA. If you're ready to work with a team that values safety, organization, and a clean work environment, we want to hear from you!

Pay Rate: $16.00/hour

Schedule: Monday - Thursday | 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

As a Laborer, your primary role is to maintain site cleanliness and help ensure a safe, hazard-free workspace. Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining housekeeping standards across the site
• Complying with all safety, environmental, and quality guidelines
• Conducting daily job safety analyses (JSAs)
• Cleaning floors, equipment, and work areas using brooms, shovels, and vacuums
• Organizing and sorting equipment and parts
• Properly disposing of trash, scrap, and debris
• Reporting issues or hazards to supervisors promptly
• Performing other general labor duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Strong attention to detail and a positive "can-do" attitude
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly, 75 lbs assisted, and push/pull up to 100 lbs
• Comfortable standing and walking for long periods
• Willingness to work in both indoor and outdoor environments
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical assessment
• Comfortable working around dust, debris, and loud equipment
• Must be a team player who can work independently when needed
