A Construction Manager is needed for a Swiss multinational manufacturing company for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and nutrition sectors, in the Portsmouth, NH area. This job is for an on-site Construction Manager with experience in pharmaceutical engineering projects who is responsible for daily contractor oversight, project scheduling, quality control, change control processes, and ensuring compliance with GMP standards.

responsibilities:
- Issue safety permits and address daily construction-related inquiries.
- Communicate with managers and stakeholders to escalate concerns.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to schedule construction activities and communicate outages.
- Create redline drawings for as-builting and collaborate with the CADD group for drawing updates and new requests.
- Assemble TOP package documents with the CADD group.
- Draft and gain alignment on change controls in collaboration with the Quality group.
- Gather pricing and assist with scoping for new projects.
- Work with vendors to specify and obtain budgetary pricing for new equipment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Extensive knowledge of Change Controls and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) manufacturing practices.
- A Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in pharmaceutical engineering projects and construction management.
