Healthcare Infrastructure Architect

About the role:

The Infra. Architect will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing IT infrastructure solutions that support the Medicare and Medicaid claims processing. With a strong focus on IT Service Management Incident Management and Desktop Support the candidate will ensure seamless operations and enhance service delivery. This hybrid role requires a deep understanding of payer systems and claims management contributing to the companies mission of improving healthcare services.

In this role, you will:

• Design and implement robust IT infrastructure solutions to support Medicare and Medicaid claims processing.

• Ensure seamless integration of IT Service Management practices to enhance operational efficiency.

• Oversee incident management processes to swiftly resolve issues and minimize downtime.

• Provide expert desktop support remotely ensuring users have uninterrupted access to necessary resources.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT infrastructure with business objectives.

• Analyze system performance and recommend improvements to optimize service delivery.

• Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure configurations and processes.

• Monitor and manage IT infrastructure to ensure high availability and reliability.

• Lead efforts to automate routine tasks improving efficiency and reducing manual intervention.

• Evaluate new technologies and tools to enhance infrastructure capabilities.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all infrastructure activities.

• Support the hybrid work model by ensuring remote access solutions are secure and efficient.

• Contribute to the companys mission by improving healthcare service delivery through effective IT infrastructure management.

Work model:

What you need to have to be considered

• Possess extensive experience in IT Service Management and Incident Management.

• Demonstrate expertise in remote desktop support solutions.

• Have a strong understanding of Medicare and Medicaid claims processing.

• Show proficiency in managing payer systems and claims.

• Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Display strong communication and collaboration abilities.

• Hold a relevant degree in Information Technology or a related field.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until August 20, 2025

The annual salary for this position is between $99,000 to $133,500 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizants discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizants applicable plans.
