Laborer - Facilities & Safety Support

Description

General cleaning, organizing, taping out floors for 5S, sweeping roofs/removing debris, and make safe operations (taping off areas, signage, etc). Support ongoing improvement activitiesSpecific Tasks:Cleaning/Organizing lab spacesPerform general cleaning and organizing of workspaces, including sweeping roofs and removing debris.Execute 5S activities such as taping out floors, labeling, and organizing tools and materials.Conduct make safe operations including taping off hazardous areas, placing signage, and ensuring clear pathways.Assist with facility maintenance and upkeep as needed.Support ongoing improvement initiatives by collaborating with teams and implementing changes.Follow safety protocols and report any unsafe conditions or incidents.Operate basic hand tools and equipment safely and effectively.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Previous experience in a laborer, janitorial, or facilities support role is a plus.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.Physical stamina to perform manual labor and work in various environmental conditions.Indoor and outdoor facility settings.May involve working at heights or in confined spaces.Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required.Culture Fit (Soft Skills)Go getter; extrovert; independent but can also work in a team

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
