PeopleReady Skilled Trades is seeking experienced Licensed Journeyman Electricians and motivated Electrical Helpers for a large-scale commercial project in Michigan City, Indiana. This project offers consistent work, competitive pay, and the opportunity to work alongside a skilled team on high-profile construction.

Note: The hourly rate for this position is $28 - $37 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures for a large commercial facility
• Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
• Run and bend conduit (EMT, PVC, rigid) to exact measurements and specifications
• Pull, route, and terminate electrical wiring and cables in compliance with NEC standards
• Install electrical panels, transformers, lighting systems, receptacles, and switches
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using testing devices
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and perform repairs to restore systems to full functionality
• Collaborate with foremen, project managers, and other trades to ensure deadlines are met
• Follow all OSHA, site-specific, and company safety protocols at all times
• Assist in material handling, staging, and cleanup to keep the job site organized and efficient (helpers)

Qualifications:

• Journeyman Electricians: Current state-issued license Helpers
• 1+ years of electrical or construction experience preferred
• Ability to read and follow technical diagrams and blueprints (journeyman)
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) (journeyman)
• Tools of the trade and required PPE
• Reliable transportation to and from the job site
