Mission Support and Test Services, LLC (MSTS) manages and operates the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS) for the U.S. National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA). Responsiblities

The Project Planning and Delivery (PPD) Director is looking to hire two Senior Project Managers.

The Senior Project Managers will report to the Low Rigor Project Management Manager within the Infrastructure PPD Directorate and provide program and project management support across various projects and programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Project and Program Management of Operations, Maintenance, and Capabilities-Enhancing scope.

  • Manage low rigor projects ( Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent training and experience and at least 5 years related professional experience.

    • The following are considered related fields for Bachelor's degree:

    • Project Management

    • Construction Management

    • Business Management

    • Engineering

    • Others on a case-by-case basis

    • The following is considered related professional experience, must have at least 5 years:

    • Construction or maintenance planner.

    • Construction or maintenance supervisor or superintendent.

    • Construction Subcontract Technical Representative (STR).

    • Military experience Technical, civil or propulsion plant experience preferred - to be evaluated.

    • Active in a construction craft, with at least 5 years at the foreman or above level.

    • Previous project management experience and responsibilities should include:

    • Managing small projects ( Department of Energy Q Clearance (position will be cleared to this level). Reviews and tests for the absence of any illegal drug as defined in 10 CFR Part 707.4 ( , Workplace Substance Abuse Programs at DOE Sites, will be conducted. Applicant selected will be subject to a Federal background investigation, required to participate in subsequent reinvestigations, and must meet the eligibility requirements for access to classified matter. Successful completion of a counterintelligence evaluation, which may include a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination, may also be required. Reference 10 CFR Part 709 ( , Counterintelligence Evaluation Program.

      Annual salary range for this position is: $98,592.00 - $147,888.00.

      Starting salary is determined based on the position market value, the individual candidate education and experience and internal equity.
