Building Inspector

BUILDING INSPECTOR for the City of Ketchikan, Engineering Department. Regular full-time $31.30 - $44.10/hr. DOQ plus benefits. Must have sufficient knowledge of the trades of the building industry related to carpentry, plumbing, mechanical, energy, and electrical installations. Minimum of 2-years of college education in the construction, architecture or drafting field. Must obtain certification from ICC as a Building Inspector within 1-year of hire is required. An ICC Combination Dwelling Inspector Certificate is recommended. Position is open until filled; EOE/AA.
