Solar Lead-Electrician

Overview:
We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Lead Solar Electrician to manage and execute solar electrical installations across various job sites. In this role, you'll not only earn competitive hourly wages but also receive piecework pay based on job completion. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in both high and low voltage systems and leadership experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise electrical crews on-site during solar installations and maintenance projects.
Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, including both high and low voltage applications.
Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics to ensure proper system installation.
Maintain strict adherence to safety regulations and ensure all work is performed in compliance with applicable codes and standards.
Perform inspections and diagnostics on electrical systems to detect issues and implement effective solutions.
Operate tools and equipment necessary for job completion.
Work closely with project managers and other trades to ensure timely and successful project delivery.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Lead Solar Electrician or in a similar leadership role.
Strong understanding of electrical systems in construction and solar environments.
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and familiar with NEC code compliance.
Experience with both high and low voltage electrical systems preferred.
Prior supervisory experience is a strong advantage.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
