Welder/Fabricator $23-$28/hr Location: Gretna, NE Job Type: Full-Time Department: Manufacturing / Shop Operations Reports To: Shop Manager or Production Supervisor Shift: 1st | No weekends Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated welder/fabricator to join our custom equipment manufacturing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on, team-oriented environment and takes pride in building high-quality, precision-engineered products. Responsibilities Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols to fabricate components. Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel and aluminum materials. Operate shop equipment including saws, grinders, plasma cutters, and other fabrication tools. Assemble mechanical systems and ensure proper fit and finish. Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve fabrication challenges. Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with safety standards. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and shop workflow optimization. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certification in welding or fabrication preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience in metal fabrication or a related field. Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment. Forklift certification and overhead crane experience a plus.
