Peak Technical is seeking a skilled Electrician in the Sylva NC area. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and light commercial electrical work, with a strong understanding of electrical systems, safety protocols, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role requires proficiency with various tools and equipment, including hand tools, power tools, and testing devices. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings, ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential applications.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for installation and repair tasks.
Ensure compliance with NEC standards during all electrical work.
Perform renovations that involve high voltage and low voltage systems.
Collaborate with construction teams on-site to ensure timely project completion.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an Electrician.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems.
Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Experience with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other relevant equipment.
Knowledge of NEC regulations and safety standards related to electrical work.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
