Drafter/Detailer – Remote

A leading pre-engineered metal building manufacturer is looking for a skilled Drafter/Detailer to join the team on a remote basis. The ideal candidate will have 3-5+ years of experience using MBS software and a strong background in detailing for metal building systems.

Responsibilities:

• Create detailed fabrication and construction drawings for metal building projects.
• Work within MBS software to generate layouts, connections, and structural components.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and fabrication teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Review and revise drawings to comply with project specifications and industry standards .
• Troubleshoot design and detailing issues with internal teams.

Requirements:

• MBS software experience is required (minimum 3-5+ years preferred).
• Background in pre-engineered metal building detailing .
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Tekla, or similar detailing software is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining clear communication with the team.
