Job Title: Press Brake Operator - 1st Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining the Press Brake. Additionally, the role includes performing deburring, filing, grinding, and polishing on machined parts using hand, bench, and light machine operations.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain the Press Brake efficiently.

  • Set up the Press Brake for production tasks.

  • Perform deburring, filing, grinding, and polishing on machined parts.

  • Utilize overhead cranes and fork trucks to receive raw bar stock steel.

  • Conduct material inspection and verification of packing lists.

  • Ensure proper storage of materials.

Essential Skills

  • 1 year of experience operating and maintaining a Press Brake.

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.

  • Experience with CNC machines.

  • Competency in using calipers and micrometers.

  • Knowledge of fabrication processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with overhead cranes and fork trucks.

  • Strong material inspection skills.

Work Environment

This role is based in a manufacturing environment. The working hours for the 1st shift are from 4:30 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, with potential overtime on Fridays from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The 2nd shift operates from 2:00 PM to 1:00 AM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
