Job Description
We are seeking dedicated Machine Operators for our facility, focusing on medical and pharmaceutical-related operations. The position involves working in a clean room environment, handling adhesives, and operating machinery to ensure high-quality product output.
Responsibilities
Train on policies, protocols, and procedures to effectively execute assigned duties.
Perform various packaging operations, including primary and secondary packaging, material handling, and cleaning/sanitization.
Conduct in-process sampling, inspection, and testing as directed.
Execute responsibilities according to documented procedures and comply with Pharmaceutical Manufacturing cGMPs consistent with 21-CFR-211 guidelines.
Accurately complete process-related paperwork and operational documentation.
Seek assistance from Technical Operators or Supervisors for clarification on uncertainties or unexpected occurrences.
Operate mixing equipment, using a small hand truck to maneuver barrels and set up mixers for adhesive materials.
Manage slitting operations, ensuring materials are cut to customer specifications and prepared for shipping.
Essential Skills
Ability to read and interpret work orders and follow basic written instructions.
Generic mechanical aptitude.
Experience with machine operation, measuring, and using a tape measure.
Basic computer skills.
Work Environment
Our facility is exceptionally clean, with the ARX building designed as a clean room environment. The pace is steady, with a focus on communication and teamwork. Candidates should be comfortable with various odors associated with adhesive manufacturing and enjoy a collaborative work environment where communication is key.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $24.75/hr.
