CAD Designer

CAD Designer Our client is seeking a skilled CAD Designer to support electrical design projects from concept to completion. This role involves creating and updating technical drawings, performing onsite facility evaluations, and collaborating closely with engineers to develop practical, high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on electrical CAD experience, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment. This role is onsite in Omaha, Nebraska. CAD Designer Responsibilities Conduct onsite facility evaluations to gather project details and assess design requirements. Create and update electrical layout plans, single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, and control panel designs. Select materials and compile material lists based on standards, specifications, and operational needs. Collaborate with engineers to resolve electrical design challenges and develop effective solutions. Review and incorporate markups, revisions, and feedback into technical drawings. Ensure all design documentation meets company standards, regulatory requirements, and safety guidelines. CAD Designer Qualifications Associate's degree in design, CAD technology, or a related field. Minimum of three years of electrical CAD experience, with preference for power and controls applications. Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Adobe/BlueBeam preferred. Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. Valid driver's license with the ability to travel to project sites as needed.
