We seek an experienced Mechanical Designer with 5-8 years of experience in CREO 7+ and Windchill to support design projects, process change notices, and collaborate with lead designers. This role involves creating detailed mechanical diagrams, reviewing specifications, and resolving design challenges using CAD tools. The ideal candidate will combine technical proficiency with strong problem-solving and mentorship skills.
Key Responsibilities
Review and approve detailed design drawings, specifications, and schematics for mechanical components using CREO 7+ and Windchill.
Resolve design issues, modify plans to address production challenges, and ensure compliance with engineering standards.
Analyze sketches, blueprints, and data to optimize component functionality and manufacturability.
Mentor junior staff, provide technical guidance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Serve as a subject-matter expert for clients, addressing installation queries and design feasibility.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks based on business needs.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Leadership ability to mentor teams and provide constructive feedback.
Detail-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
Work Environment
Hybrid role: Split between remote and on-site work (schedule determined by business needs).
