Saw Operator Job Description Candidates will establish and operate sheet metal saw machines, handling tasks such as loading and unloading materials, changing tools and machine parameters, and inspecting the equipment. They need to understand drawings and blueprints of the finished product and operate the machine safely. Responsibilities Establish and operate sheet metal saw machines. Load and unload materials efficiently. Change tools and adjust machine parameters as needed. Inspect equipment regularly to ensure safe operation. Interpret and understand drawings and blueprints of the finished product. Operate machinery safely and effectively. Essential Skills Experience with press brake, blueprint reading, and drill press operations. Strong math and computer skills. Experience in machine operation within manufacturing facilities. Mechanical aptitude. Additional Skills & Qualifications 2+ years of experience as a press brake operator. Proficiency with industrial machinery, including bandsaws and tape measures. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
