HVAC Install Supervisor

The HVAC Install Supervisor plays a vital role in leading and supervising the residential HVAC Install technicians to ensure exceptional customer experiences and growth of the HVAC business. This position will be instrumental in shaping the company culture, engaging employees, and driving organizational results within the IT Landes Home Service Team. Additionally, the HVAC Install Supervisor will serve as a consultant to leadership on HVAC operational matters, possessing a deep understanding of the business units financial position, strategic plans, culture and competitive landscape.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead, manage and provide accountability for install technicians.
• Spend 50% of time on job sites supporting technicians, improving processes, standards, and performing service and install work as required. The remaining time will be dedicated to project planning, meetings, design, ordering with warehouse staff, and handling office-related tasks.
• Coordinate on-site pre-sale visits in collaboration with the sales team.
• Identify growth opportunities and foster individual technicians' development through on-site training, coaching, assigning training, and experience-building tasks.
• Manage day-to-day technician needs, including assistance, recognition, and disciplinary actions.
• Inform and train technicians on new procedures, work policies, and codes.
• Monitor and support improvements in technician practices for material and labor efficiency.
• Ensure positive customer relations, addressing technician performance issues, technical billing disputes, and resolving technical issues from visits.
• Assist Manager in performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and technician terminations.
• Perform technical services as needed, including service, repair, diagnostics, and equipment replacement.
• Possess knowledge of OSHA regulations pertaining to technicians' work and ensure adherence to safe work protocols.
• Assist Manager in financial analysis and budget preparation.
• Collaborate with Manager, office, and technician teams to meet business demands.
• Proactively plan for personal and team improvement.

• Perform other duties as assigned by HVAC Operations Manager.
