- Perform fieldwork and prepare reports for site assessments, pilot tests, remediation system construction, operation and maintenance, and well abandonments.
- Conduct soil, groundwater, and surface water sampling in accordance with Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) Standard Operating Procedures.
- Oversee pilot testing and remediation system installations, as well as operation and maintenance activities.
- Manage and oversee subcontractors, including those involved in drilling and excavation activities.
- Prepare scopes of work and cost estimates for projects.
- Communicate effectively and constructively with coworkers, regulators, and stakeholders.
- Project management experience in environmental remediation.
- Strong technical writing skills.
- Experience with permitting processes.
- Familiarity with the Potentially Responsible Party (PRP) program.
- Proficiency in assessment and remediation techniques, including groundwater monitoring and remediation systems.
- Knowledge of natural attenuation and field sampling techniques.
- Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) certification.
- Bachelor's degree in geology, engineering, environmental science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of environmental experience.
- At least 3 years of experience managing FDEP ATC projects.
- Familiarity with FDEP PRP Contract.
- Physical ability to lift over 50 pounds during fieldwork.
This is a Contract to Hire position and is remote in FL, with travel to site required.
