Job Title: Construction Project Engineer 5

Location: Remote

Salary Range: $80/hr to $100/hr on W2

Introduction

The main function of this role is to apply engineering theory and principles to solve problems related to industrial layout or manufacturing production. The successful candidate will have the ability to create engineering drawings, and read and interpret blueprints.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience with construction management, builds, contracts administration
  • Strong experience in data center industry & Data center design
  • Solid Understanding of fiber, architecture, electrical, mechanical, HVAC etc
  • Certifications required – RCDD ( registered communication, distribution, designer)
  • Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
  • Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Team player and detail-oriented
  • Ability to make sketches, engineering drawings, and common computations
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Study time, motion, methods, and speed involved in maintenance, production, and other operations to establish standard production rates and improve efficiency
  • Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confer with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards
  • Read worker logs, product processing sheets, and specification sheets to verify adherence to quality assurance specifications
  • Aid in planning work assignments based on worker performance, machine capacity, production schedules, and anticipated delays
  • Prepare charts, graphs, and diagrams to illustrate workflow, routing, floor layouts, material handling, and machine utilization
  • Observe workers using equipment to ensure it is operated and maintained according to quality assurance standards
  • Evaluate data and write reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards
