Our multi-discipline design team approach will provide the successful candidate the opportunity to pursue a path, which aligns with their particular strengths and interest as their career advances. We currently have a wealth of interesting projects, from local road resurfacing to large-scale highway improvements, intersection improvements, drainage and stormwater improvements, pedestrian/ADA accommodation designs, as well as several specialized projects involving amphibian roadway crossing infrastructure, design of pedestrian/bicycle paths and raised boardwalks thru environmentally sensitive areas. This position provides an excellent opportunity for career growth.**The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:** Work alongside Project Managers and Supervising Engineers in delivering transportation and civil related projects, including providing technical oversight to engineering staff on project tasks such as;- Preparation of technical reports and studies, including Concept Development and Final Design Reports.- Lead project field visits to perform condition assessments and inventory of substandard/critical design elements.- Collaborate with multidiscipline design engineers and technicians.- Opportunities for involvement in Project Management skills pertaining to project budgets and schedules, and adherence to a project's scope of work.- Participate in professional organizations and technical societies.Qualifications- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE)- 6-12 years of experience (roadway/civil engineering)- Experience with Microstation InRoads- NJ PE License is desiredThe pay range for this position is $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year; however, base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
