Job Description:
As a General Laborer, work in a team environment to ensure the product is packaged correctly and efficiently. General Laborers are necessary to ensure production runs smoothly.
Responsibilities:
Package products by filling, sealing, and stacking bags, jugs, or pails
Operate equipment, such as stretch-wrap machines, to prepare products for shipping
Rework damaged items by repairing, restacking, and rewrapping them as needed
Maintain a clean and safe work area, which includes general housekeeping and clearing walkways
Assist the shipping department with various tasks, including protecting finished products from weather
Perform other general labor duties as assigned
Assisting in Production
Education: High School
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience: 6 months
Physical:
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Related Experience: General Labor, General Laborer, Assembly, Assembler, Production, Manufacturing
