Electrical Maintenance Technician

Position Overview:

The Electrical Maintenance Technician will focus on troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical systems, with a solid understanding of electrical schematics, mechanical systems, and basic pneumatics and hydraulics. This hands-on role involves both installation and repair tasks, performed according to established procedures and instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with 480 VAC 3-phase and lower voltages.

• Install and rework electrical wiring for equipment per NEC standards.

• Troubleshoot and replace electrical components, including relays, fuses, switches, motors, sensors, and machinery controls.

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, and building systems to ensure smooth operation.

• Follow safety procedures in all tasks.

• Repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

• Troubleshoot PLC and drive control issues.

Note: Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Trade school or associate degree in electrical work or relevant experience.

• Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience.

Skills & Experience:

• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting background.

• Ability to read and troubleshoot PLC programs.

• Basic welding skills.

• Must be diligent, flexible, detail-oriented, and willing to learn about various machinery systems.

• Starting Pay: $33.00/hour (based on experience)
