Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrical Project Manager to join our team. This role involves procuring, estimating, managing, and overseeing electrical projects from conception through completion. The position requires managing client relationships, ensuring project quality, scheduling, and maintaining profitability.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage client accounts and maintain long-term relationships.

  • Perform estimating through site surveys and plan reviews.

  • Issue purchase orders for equipment, materials, and subcontractors in a timely manner.

  • Develop project schedules, coordinate resources, and ensure subcontractor activities align with project requirements.

  • Work with field superintendents to plan and manage manpower needs.

  • Conduct site visits, review drawings and specifications, and ensure labor and materials meet quality standards.

  • Complete monthly billings, job cost reports, and manpower requirements to maintain project margins.

  • Oversee project closeout, including as-built drawings, operation and maintenance manuals, warranty tracking, punch list completion, and final billings.

Qualifications:

  • Preferably holds an unlimited electrical license.

  • Minimum of 10 years of electrical experience in industrial/commercial environments.

  • Ability to read and understand multi-trade drawings for coordination.

  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Bluebeam; experience with AutoCAD and Viewpoint is beneficial.

  • Strong understanding of project management processes, cost control, and quality assurance.

  • Prior field experience in the electrical industry is a plus.

Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to manage client relationships, subcontractors, vendors, and general contractors.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.

  • Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, climb ladders, and balance as required.
