Position Overview:

At Parsons, we deliver innovative infrastructure solutions that improve communities and connect people. We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead medium-sized projects or multiple smaller projects within our Bridges and Transit Structures division. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with contractual obligations. You will oversee scope development, scope management, and the commercial performance of projects to achieve client goals and objectives.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will bring expertise in integrating engineering, procurement, and construction activities, while managing projects with a total installed cost of up to $50 million. This is an exciting opportunity to work on impactful projects that shape the future of infrastructure in New York and beyond.

What Youll Be Doing:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact with clients and subcontractors during project execution, ensuring strong relationships and successful delivery.

  • Negotiate changes to the scope of work and secure additional opportunities with clients.

  • Lead the development of project execution plans, including Health and Safety Plans, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plans, and other required documentation.

  • Define program requirements and oversee deliverables to ensure alignment with project goals.

  • Direct, supervise, and manage all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative aspects of assigned projects.

  • Mobilize resources and build project teams by collaborating with internal departments and external stakeholders.

  • Develop budgets, schedules, and plans for various project elements, ensuring adherence to established goals.

  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to address cost overruns, delays, or scope changes.

  • Promote technical and commercial excellence through the application of Parsons Quality Assurance processes.

  • Provide regular updates to management on project milestones, costs, and schedules, and lead weekly project status meetings.

  • Represent Parsons in negotiations with regulatory agencies and public meetings in support of client objectives.

What Youll Bring:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related technical/business field.

  • 15+ years of relevant experience in project management, including bridges and structures projects.

  • Professional registration (PE) may be required.

  • Proven ability to lead and manage teams, with strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Knowledge of industry practices, regulations, and current technologies applicable to infrastructure projects.

  • Parsons project management certification or ability to meet certification requirements.
