Fire Alarm Foreman

As a Fire Alarm Foreman, you will lead the installation of fire life safety systems on large commercial projects. Your responsibilities include managing field crews, coordinating with project managers, contractors, and clients, and ensuring all projects are completed safely, on time, and to high standards.

Work Schedule:

  • Hours may vary. Must be able to work weekends, nights, split shifts, and rotating shifts (if needed).

Your main responsibilities are to:

  • Conduct final inspections
  • Review project documents, and ensure all reporting and billing are accurate.
  • Read the blueprints and installation drawings to direct the scope of work, troubleshoot system issues, and make sure everyone follows company and safety standards.
  • Manage our inventory and vehicle maintenance, onboard new team members, and promote punctuality and consistent attendance within the team.

Position Requirements:

  1. 5+ years in construction and/or low voltage installation
  2. 5+ years installing low voltage in a Commercial environment
  3. High school diploma (or equivalent)
  4. Valid California Driver License and proof of auto insurance.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  1. Ability to drive for 2+ hours in a work shift/day, daily.
  2. Ability to drive, walk, bend, stoop, hear, and speak, daily.
  3. Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments, under all temperature variations.
  4. Work environment may be construction sites, commercial buildings, and multi-tenant properties.
  5. Ascend/Descend and work at heights above 6ft and extreme heights, occasionally
  6. Move/Transport/Install/Remove items weighing 50+ pounds, daily
  7. Pushing/Pulling using upper extremities, daily
  8. Position self to work in confined spaces, occasionally
