Civil Project Engineer Our client is seeking a motivated Civil Project Engineer to join their close-knit and well-established engineering team. This role is onsite in Clackamas, Oregon. Civil Project Engineer Responsibilities Plan, design, and manage civil engineering projects from initial concept through completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and standards. Prepare reports, technical specifications, and project documentation to support planning, design, and construction phases. Coordinate with internal staff, consultants, and contractors to deliver high-quality project outcomes on schedule and within budget. Serve as project lead, providing technical direction and oversight of assigned project activities. Track project deliverables and budgets, recommend adjustments or change orders as needed, and ensure compliance with applicable standards. Review construction submittals and assist with developing and maintaining engineering standards and procedures. Support hydraulic modeling efforts and utilize GIS/CAD tools for design and planning. Collaborate with senior engineers and contribute to daily departmental operations. Civil Project Engineer Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Active Oregon Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required. 4-8 years of progressively responsible civil engineering experience, ideally with public works, utilities, or related infrastructure projects. Proficiency with ArcGIS, Autodesk/Bluebeam, and MS Project or similar project management tools. Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, capital project planning, and construction practices. Knowledge of safety regulations, industry standards, and municipal water system operations. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and stakeholders. Salary: $91k-$120k/year.
