Mechanical General Foreman - Solar Construction Location: Boise, ID and nationwide Employment Type: Full-Time Experience Level: Intermediate Job Description We're seeking a skilled and driven Mechanical General Foreman to lead our on-site mechanical crews in delivering high-quality solar installations. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all mechanical scopesfrom racking systems to solar modules and trackersare executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project goals. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily activities of mechanical crews on-site Ensure proper installation of racking systems, solar modules, and trackers Interpret construction drawings and specifications to guide field execution Monitor productivity, quality, and safety compliance across all mechanical scopes Collaborate with site leadership, subcontractors, and vendors to meet project milestones Maintain accurate daily reports, timesheets, and progress tracking Identify and resolve field issues proactively to avoid delays Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular toolbox talks Support material handling, inventory control, and equipment logistics Required Skills Construction management and field supervision Solar installation and mechanical systems expertise Ability to read and interpret construction drawings Strong communication and leadership skills Proficiency in safety compliance and reporting Top Skills Skill Area Proficiency Needed Construction High Solar Installation High Mechanical Systems High Construction Management High Experience 3-5 years of experience in mechanical construction, preferably in solar or renewable energy projects Proven track record of managing crews and delivering projects on time and within scope Why Join Us? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
