Millwright Mechanic

Our client, a leader in the industrial sector, is seeking a Millwright Mechanic to join their team. As a Millwright Mechanic, you will be part of the maintenance team supporting the operations of paper industrial machines. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully with the organization.

Job Title: Millwright Mechanic

Location: Austell, GA

Pay Range:

Shift: 2nd shift

What's the Job?

• Inspect and troubleshoot the condition of paper rollers.
• Measure bearing clearances and install various types of bearings.
• Read blueprints and technical drawings to guide repairs.
• Disassemble and reassemble mechanical systems effectively.
• Utilize hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tools in daily tasks.

What's Needed?

• Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Exhibit safety as a core value and communicate a shared vision for safety.
• Willingness to develop skills in multiple areas, including millwright and welding.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
