Location: Charlotte, NC
We're looking for an experienced and driven Landscape Enhancement & Construction Manager to lead our team in Charlotte, NC. In this key role, you'll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our landscape enhancement and construction projects, from managing crews and operations to ensuring top-notch quality and customer satisfaction.
What You'll Do- Lead and develop your team. You'll manage a crew of 5-12 employees, providing training, instruction, and motivation to ensure high-quality work and a positive team environment. This includes teaching them new skills related to hardscapes, landscapes, and efficient project execution.
- Manage projects from start to finish. You'll handle the day-to-day operations for various commercial and residential landscape projects, including new installations and enhancements on existing accounts. This involves:
- Reading and interpreting blueprints.
- Planning and scheduling work to maximize efficiency.
- Ordering materials and equipment.
- Ensuring jobs are laid out and completed to the highest standards.
- Drive profitability and sales. You'll be responsible for meeting monthly production goals and helping to achieve the branch's financial objectives. A key part of this is driving sales by building strong relationships with contractors and delivering such high-quality work that they want to use us again. This is not cold calling, but rather earning repeat business through excellent service.
- Build strong relationships. You'll maintain excellent communication with both internal and external customers, ensuring their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded.
- Keep things running smoothly. You'll handle key administrative tasks like completing purchase orders, submitting accurate paperwork, and managing equipment and vehicle maintenance.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the landscaping or construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of landscape and hardscape installation techniques.
- The ability to read blueprints, route jobs, and plan for optimal efficiency.
- A proven track record of building and maintaining strong professional relationships.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- A proactive, customer-focused approach to managing projects and people.
