CE Facility Support Engineer - Electrical 3

Our client, a leader in critical infrastructure solutions, is seeking a CE Facility Support Engineer - Electrical 3 to join their team. As a CE Facility Support Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting the electrical infrastructure across various datacenter campuses. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CE Facility Support Engineer - Electrical 3
Location: Hoffman Estates, IL
Duration: 6 - 18 Months on W2
Pay Range: $44 - $49/hour + Benefits & PTO
Day Shift A: 12-hrs (Sun-Wed) & (Sun-Tue)

What's the Job?

• Able to complete all tasks listed in the CE Tech Level 1 and Level 2 role description.
• Support electrical infrastructures throughout datacenter campuses ranging from a single, large-capacity facility to several smaller ones.
• Experience with building management systems (EPMS).
• Perform Remote Power Panel (RPP) shutdown of 1 source while ensuring critical load is still supplied through one source (N).
• Conduct Power Interruption Testing (PIT) and master controller shutdown or replacement.

What's Needed?

• All candidates must hold an OSHA or OSHA-approved NFPA 70E Certification.
• Experience with electrical systems in high availability assembly/manufacturing/critical infrastructure environments such as data centers.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of work/applied learning experience in technical fields (e.g., automotive, electrical, controls, data center).
• Able to work a flexible work schedule which could include 12-hour shifts, rotating shifts, or 3, 4, or 5-day work weeks.
