A full-service MEPF consultancy is hiring Electrical Engineers to design and deliver high-performance electrical systems for a diverse portfolio of projects, including data centers, biopharmaceutical facilities, semiconductor plants, industrial technology labs, commercial offices, and high-rise residential buildings. With in-house expertise spanning Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Process Piping, and Commissioning, the team provides integrated solutions that are innovative, constructible, and cost-efficient.
This is a fully on-site role in San Jose, ideal for engineers who want project variety, hands-on collaboration, and clear pathways for career growth. Depending on experience, you’ll take ownership of smaller projects or lead complex scopes with broader responsibility.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Design electrical power and lighting systems for commercial, residential, and industrial projects
Develop complete construction documents, including drawings and specifications, aligned with QA/QC standards
Perform engineering calculations and power studies using industry software
Ensure compliance with NEC and state codes in all design documentation
Coordinate with architects, MEP disciplines, contractors, and owners across all phases of design and construction
Mentor junior engineers and designers, supporting their technical growth
Collaborate with project managers to align designs with scope, schedule, and budget
Partner with CAD/BIM managers to maintain firm-wide standards and workflows
WHAT YOU BRING
3–10 years of electrical systems design experience in a consulting environment
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (required)
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred (not required)
Proficiency with Revit and CAD; Design Master experience a plus
Field experience and the ability to balance practical solutions with design innovation
Strong independent work skills with a track record of mentoring others
A collaborative, client-first mindset with excellent communication skills
