- Develop the structure of the mechanical system based on system architecture, integrating measures derived from risk analysis into the design.
- Break down the overall system structure into subsystems and components, and create detailed product specifications for each.
- Review and assess the potential for reusing existing subsystems and components to optimize development efficiency and cost.
- Develop alternative structures and thoroughly evaluate each to select the most suitable solution for the application.
- Ensure double-sided traceability with the mechanical architecture through precise documentation and provide deliverables under robust configuration management (including material designation, versioning, storage location, etc.).
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 3 plus years of professional experience
- Experience in mechanical product design and development, ideally within battery systems, e-mobility, or automotive sectors.
- Proficient in 3D CAD software (such as CATIA, NX, Creo, or similar) and hands-on experience with technical documentation.
- Strong understanding of DFMEA, risk analysis, and product validation processes.
- Familiarity with design for manufacturing/assembly (DFM/DFA) and configuration management principles.
