Job Summary
We are seeking a Construction Project Manager 3 specializing in datacenter utility power infrastructure to oversee the facilitation, development, and delivery of advanced power infrastructure solutions. This role involves managing the full lifecycle of projectsfrom pre-programming and design development through construction and turnover to operations. The successful candidate will provide overall leadership, coordination, and management across multiple, concurrent utility distribution, substation, and transmission projects, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities
Lead and manage multiple datacenter utility power infrastructure projects, including distribution, substation, and transmission systems.
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and utility providers to ensure successful project delivery.
Oversee project planning, design development, construction, and transition to operations.
Drive infrastructure coordination across all phases of project execution.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress, ensure quality, and resolve issues.
Manage scheduling, reporting, documentation, and contractor performance.
Engage with utility providers (e.g., Black Hills Energy) and general contractors for project execution across building campuses, substations, and facilities.
Ensure adherence to safety, compliance, and performance standards.
Skills and Qualifications
Strong project management, construction management, and leadership skills.
High proficiency in transmission and substation design and construction .
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple concurrent projects.
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and integrity.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and a methodical approach.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree in engineering or related field, OR 10+ years of experience in substation design and/or delivery.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or Electrical Engineer certification is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to lead engineering teams in complex datacenter projects.
Experience Required
10+ years of experience in consulting engineering or construction of substations.
5+ years of experience as a Lead Engineer, Design Manager, or Project Manager in transmission or substation projects.
5+ years of experience with datacenter engineering or construction.
