Overview: Classic D, LLC, a reputable cabinet manufacturer in Mount Crawford, VA, specializing in high-quality kitchen cabinetry for residential and hospitality sectors, is looking for a detail-oriented Manufacturing Project Engineer. This position will involve supporting manufacturing processes such as wood finishing, automated equipment, inventory management, material handling, product customization, assembly, and packaging of traditional face-frame and modern euro-style cabinetry.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in CAD software and basic computer skills.
- Experience in project management and engineering analysis.
- Ability to work collaboratively and demonstrate problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the Engineering Manager and Director of Engineering.
- Identify, define, and resolve issues in manufacturing processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Assist in implementing process changes while considering overall operational impact.
- Lead large projects related to manufacturing improvement or product development.
- Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives and apply Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Create technical drawings and specifications as required.
- Liaise with plant workers across departments to define and solve problems.
- Provide technical support for software and manufacturing systems.
- Gather date and perform engineering analysis of processes and components.
- Prefer hands-on woodworking experience and proven ability to safely operate basic shop tools.
- Preferred experience with programming logic and familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
