Maintenance Mechanic 3rd Shift (DIRECT HIRE)

Maintenance Mechanic (DIRECT HIRE) Job Description Currently looking to add talent to our 3rd shift team, within an advanced GMP production setting. The Maintenance Mechanic will oversee the performance and maintenance of large production machinery, including packaging, sealing, conveyer, and oven like machines and equipment. Hours: The third shift from Sunday to Thursday, 9:30 PM to 6:00 AM , with overtime as needed. Compensation: $52,000-$75,000 per year before overtime, based off experience and skills relating to industrial maintenance Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines. Thoroughly clean machines and machine parts, removing parts and reinstalling as necessary. Record and report damaged, worn, or broken parts. Order and install replacement parts for machines. Identify the cause of unexpected breakdowns of machines. Repair broken machines quickly and efficiently. Troubleshoot, identify, fix, and rebuild broken packaging and food processing equipment, building structures, and auxiliary systems (electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic), and report findings to the team. Install, service, maintain, modernize, and modify machinery and processing apparatus. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills 2+ years of experience with Multivac machines and packaging machines. Experience in production maintenance. Proficiency in troubleshooting and repair of machinery. High school degree, some college preferred. Database management. MS Office proficiency, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in a food/freezer environment is a plus. Working knowledge of plant equipment and parts. May be required to work long hours and weekends. Why Work Here?
