Fabricator - Contract-to-Hire Shifts Available: 1st Shift (Tube Laser or Punch Press): Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM-1:00 PM (OT until 3:00 PM) 2nd Shift (Tube Bender or Tube Laser): Monday-Thursday, 1:00 PM-11:00 PM (OT on Fridays) Pay Range: $24.00-$32.00/hour Job Overview: Seeking skilled fabricators to operate and assemble metal components using lasers, benders, CNC routers, and other fabrication equipment. This role involves blueprint-driven work with a variety of tools and materials. Key Responsibilities: Operate table/tube lasers, tube benders, CNC routers Use tape measures, table saws, and hand tools for precise fabrication Assemble sheet metal components per blueprints and work instructions Lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs Follow safety rules and maintain product quality Required Skills & Qualifications: High school diploma or GED Ability to read blueprints and work instructions Experience with fabrication machines (tube laser, sheet laser, bender, turret/punch press) Comfortable using tape measures, saws, and hand tools Able to interpret safety and maintenance documents Preferred Skills: Welding and sheet metal fabrication Press brake and CNC laser operation Machine operation and blueprint reading Work Environment & Culture: Large, clean shop with a small-team feel Expanding multi-building campus Low turnover and strong internal promotion culture Benefits (if eligible): Medical, dental, vision 401(k) with up to 6% match Monthly production bonuses ESOP retirement program Free onsite nurse PTO, sick time, and standard holidays Hiring Process: Interview with operations manager Shop tour included Drug test required PPE: steel-toe boots and safety glasses Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $32.00/hr.
