HVAC Technician Job Description As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for traveling throughout San Antonio to complete service calls and work orders. You will primarily service rooftop units and split systems while also handling general maintenance tasks such as minor plumbing, painting, patching, and carpentry. Responsibilities Service and maintain rooftop units and split systems. Perform general maintenance tasks including minor plumbing, painting, patching, and carpentry. Complete service calls and work orders across multiple locations daily. Utilize technology efficiently, including iPads for work orders and Microsoft Office applications. Provide excellent customer service as this role is client-facing. Essential Skills 2+ years of HVAC experience, preferably in a commercial setting. Proficiency in various trades such as plumbing, electrical, and carpentry. Valid driver's license. Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors as needed. Additional Skills & Qualifications Strong customer service skills. Familiarity with technology for managing work orders and communication. Work Environment The role involves dispatching from home, providing a work truck/van, tools, and company uniform. The work is primarily indoors within well-maintained commercial facilities, but outdoor work may be necessary. The standard shift is Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with potential for additional hours. Professionalism is expected in all client interactions. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, Texas. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00/hr.
